I designed all the marquees for various Authors / Operators, including Jeffery Deaver, author of the new James Bond book - "Carte Blanche". I also designed the postcards with media info and discount offers, as well as two t-shirt designs.

Ja-Di Creations

Ja-Di Creations was an event planning company. They already had a logo, I designed the business cards. It wasn't easy working with the existing logo, but I think the cards turned out nice.

The Pirates - Logo redesign

So a buddy of mine belongs to one of Lahti, Finland's oldest gangs - The Pirates. Formed in 1983 out of American 50's rock'n roll, hotrods and booze. These guys have managed to stay alive on the cold, mean streets of Lahti. How I came to know this guy is another story. But he emailed and asked if I'd redesign the logo for some t-shirts they want to do for their 30th Anniversary. Hey, I don't judge and Finnish gangs need branding too.

Here's what I came up with. These are concepts I sent him. Once I get a printed t-shirt mailed to me, I'll shoot a pic and update this post.

Flashlight POS Display - 5.11 Tactical

I designed a card that gets inserted into this acrylic display. The display holds the flashlight that is secured to it. The card lists the flashlight specs and some key features. The 5.11 logo is etched into the clear acrylic. I've been doing a lot of flashlight packaging design lately.

Death Card - vector design

I was given a sketch (not my sketch) and asked to turn it into a vector design that would be put on t-shirts.

So I traced the sketch in illustrator, I also used a photo of the flashlight (the things in the mouth are flashlights), traced that and made it vector. Stylized things a bit with some halftone pattern. I tweaked the overall look a bit, flipped the spade right side up, filled in the eyes and nose.

Custom Pocket Mod

I made this at work to write "to-do" lists. Ya, I'm oldschool like that. I grabbed the template online, customized mine in InDesign. I may use this concept for a hangtag that needs multiple pages, then use the inside as a spread or mini poster.

This is an 8.5x11 piece of paper, folded and uses one small scissor cut. Has 6 inside pages + front / back covers.
