Radioman Documentary Film - Poster

I recently replied to a Craigslist posting out of New York City for a graphic designer to design a poster for an independent documentary film called "Radioman". It's about a homeless man in NYC who has become a movie legend with over 100 film credits to his name. I was shocked to see the A-List celebrities interviewed throughout the documentary - George Clooney, Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep, Robin Williams, Sting, etc...

I was given a 3 day turnaround deadline. And by industry standards - not the greatest photo's to work with. The logo was supplied.

I took the original concept from the Producer Paul Fischer, but ended up putting my own spin on it.

I am very proud to be apart of this and to create the imagery for the film. It premiered on April 26th, 2012 at HotDocs: Canadian International Documentary Festival.

Ultimately they used a poster I whipped up at the last moment and sent with the 2 main final versions. It wasn't my favorite, but I'm still very proud, happy and excited for the finished posters.

Here are the drawing from Producer Paul Fischer. You can see how far I took these posters from the original concept. I chuckled when I saw the drawings. LOL.

These are the original photos used for two posters.

This is the poster they are using.

Great stuff Mark - you're doing really great work. But then that's no surprise.
